There is a lovely spot at Butcher's Dam near Alexandra where we often stop, a very peaceful and tranquil place often with stunning reflections.
You can also see our campervan loading onto the historic Punt at Tuapeka Mouth and preparing to cross the mighty Clutha River. This Punt cleverly uses the angle of it's hulls and the river current to cross unaided by any mechanical means and is part of the roading network near Lawrence (Otago) which we visited on a recent trip.
